Biography
Gary Filip is legendary in the Chicago music scene.  A well-known piano bar entertainer for more than 30 years, Gary has played the Pump Room, the Palmer House, the Fairmont Hotel, the Zebra Lounge, the Redhead Piano Bar, the Underground Wonderbar and just about any major piano bar in the Chicago area.  Gary has been flown to Hawaii, California, Maryland  and New York to perform.

Gary is also recognized and respected in the recording industry.  He wrote, performed and produced the song “The California Angels Are Here” that played at Anaheim Stadium as the California Angels took the field.  He wrote, produced and performed a song for CBS’s successful special “Once Upon a Dream” covering the Special Olympics in Ireland.  One of Gary’s most memorable moments was the performance of his song “Rainbow” on Sesame Street.

Some of Gary’s other musical accomplishments include countless radio and television jingles covering McDonalds, American Airlines, Coca Cola, Archway Cookies, Sparkle Glass Cleaner, Peter Pan Peanut Butter, Kraft, Pillsbury and many more.  Gary has performed with such distinguished artists as Ray Charles, Billy Crystal, Bob Hope, The Beach Boys, Crystal Gayle, Maureen McGovern and Bob Newhart.

Gary currently resides in Florida with his wife and son, teaches music at the Lake Placid Montessori Children's Academy and plays for special occasions.
